Romanian President Klaus Iohannis sent a congratulatory message to Maia Sandu on the occasion of her inauguration for a second term as President of the Republic of Moldova. In an official statement, the Romanian president emphasized the importance of continuing the close relations between the two countries, highlighting their shared commitments to fostering stability, European values, and democracy, IPN reports.
“Congratulations to President Maia Sandu, who today took the oath of office for her second term as the leader of the Republic of Moldova. Romania and the Republic of Moldova will continue to work together for prosperity, stability, European values, resilience, and democracy”, Klaus Iohannis stated.
The inauguration ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Palace of the Republic, attended by state officials, members of the diplomatic corps, including the President of Parliament, Igor Grosu, and the President of the Constitutional Court, Domnica Manole.
