Six persons, two of whom are minors, were rushed to the hospital with injuries they sustained in a road accident that occurred in the municipality of Comrat. One of the minors, a girl aged 12, died in the hospital on Thursday morning, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate said that two cars collided. A driver lost control of the car and ran the vehicle frontally into another car after changing lanes.
As a result of the impact, both of the drivers, aged 29 and 24, three passengers from the struck car. aged 12, 16 and 35, and a 30-year-old passenger from the other car were taken to the hospital. The 12-year-old girl died in the hospital.
The female passenger from the struck car, who travelled together with her daughters, is an employee of the Comrat Police Inspectorate.
