The mother of four minor children got 21 years in jail for sexually abusing two of her children and for trafficking her daughter for sexual exploitation. According to prosecutors, it happened after the woman was deprived of parental rights, being allowed by the official guardian to take part in the maintaining, education and caring for her children, IPN reports.
At the end of June 2020, being at the home of her parents who looked after the children, the woman sexually abused her two boys aged five and ten. Being questioned in special conditions, the minors said that their mother woke them up at night and abused them sexually. The situation repeated for several days.
The prosecutors also determined that in the course of 2015, she transported her nine-year-old daughter to a settlement in the Russian Federation, where she forced her to have sex with a man.
The Prosecutor General’s Office said the children told their grandparents about the ordeal through which they went and these immediately informed the police. The woman was arrested.
In 2019, she was deprived of parental rights because she didn’t take care of her children and behaved antisocially, abusing alcohol.
The woman didn’t admit her guilt. She was sentenced to a total of 21 years in jail. The sentence can be appealed to a higher court.
