Meteorologists have issued a yellow heatwave warning for Friday. Across the entire territory of the Republic of Moldova, temperatures will range between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius, reports IPN.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the heatwave is caused by a wave of tropical air. Thus, in the central and southern regions of the country, temperatures will reach between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius. In the north, the maximum will rise to 33 degrees.
Temperatures will slightly drop over the weekend, ranging between 28 and 32 degrees Celsius.
Citizens are urged to stay constantly hydrated, avoid direct sun exposure during peak hours, and to use sun protection factor creams.
