Citizens of the Republic Of Moldova can travel to the United Arab Emirates without a visa, benefiting from a stay of up to 90 days within 180 days. The measure entered into force today, September 4, with the application of the memorandum on the mutual abolition of the visa regime, IPN reports.
The Foreign Ministry said the decision simplifies the movement of people, encourages tourism, economic exchanges and cultural cooperation. According to the foreign ministry, the abolition of visas is also a step in strengthening the bilateral relations between Moldova and the United Arab Emirates.
The memorandum on the mutual abolition of the visa regime was signed in Abu Dhabi on august 4 by Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and his Emirati counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
