Moldovan and Ukrainian authorities will cooperate to establish joint border and customs control at the Basarabeasca/Serpniovo-1 rail border crossing, located within Moldova’s territorial jurisdiction.
The Government today authorized the relevant agencies to initiate formal negotiations with their Ukrainian counterparts to make this happen.
This joint effort will cover both passenger and commercial traffic and will be carried out in accordance with European standards and practice.
