Freestyle fighter Irina Ringaci has won the world champion title in beach wrestling, ranking first in the up to 70 kilograms category, reports IPN.
The Ministry of Education and Research notes that, after prevailing in the stages held in Poreč, Croatia and Katerini, Greece, the Moldovan athlete concluded the competition with a new victory in the final round, hosted by Alexandria, Egypt.
In the final of the up to 70 kg category, Irina Ringaci defeated the Ukrainian Olena Nikitinska, thus, she secured the first place in the world ranking.
