Claudiu Nasui, proposed for the position of Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, announced that he will resign from his mandate as a deputy in the Parliament of Romania. He says he has decided to come to the Republic of Moldova to contribute to economic reforms and the promotion of economic freedom, reports IPN.
“I strongly resonated with Mr. Vasile Tofan’s vision, the new Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, for this country: for the Republic of Moldova to become the most welcoming country for entrepreneurs”, declared Nasui, who recently received citizenship of the Republic of Moldova by the decree of President Maia Sandu.
He clarified that the appointment to the Chisinau Government implies renouncing the Romanian parliamentary mandate, which he has held since 2016.
At the age of 41, Claudiu Nasui is a Romanian economist and politician. He was a deputy on behalf of USR and the minister of economy, entrepreneurship and tourism from December 2020 to September 2021.
