The price of gasoline will increase by 17 cents this weekend. The National Agency for Energy Regulation has set a maximum price of 31.25 lei for a liter of 95 octane gasoline, reports IPN.
At the same time, during the period from August 29 to September 1, a liter of standard diesel will be sold at the pump for a maximum of 32.89 lei, 32 bani less.
ANRE establishes the maximum retail prices for main standard type petroleum products based on a methodology that takes into account, among other things, the average Platts quotations from the last 14 days and the average official exchange rate of the leu against the US dollar for the same period.
At the same time, on international markets, oil quotations have registered slight decreases. Brent oil is trading at 89.37 dollars per barrel, down by 0.37%, and American WTI oil – at 83.22 dollars per barrel, 0.37% less.
