A new multifunctional stadium will be built on the territory of “Gheorghe Madan” Secondary School in Trușeni. According to the Chisinau City Hall, it will be divided into areas for sports, leisure spaces and outdoor recreational activities, IPN reports.
The stadium will include a mini-football field, basketball, volleyball and handball areas, a running track, a workout area, alleys, recreational spaces and green areas.
The implementation of the project will be complex and is projected to be completed in 2025, the municipality noted.
The new stadium will be intended for both students and sports lovers in the commune.
The cost of the project is estimated at about 10 million lei. In the municipal budget allocated this year for the Trușeni commune, 6.5 million lei was earmarked for the stadium. Another 3.5 million lei is the contribution of the local mayor’s office.
