About 3.2 million lei has been collected in donations to Ukrainian refugees on an account opened by the Ministry of Finance, as members of the public are being urged to donate further.
Both individuals and businesses can donate using the governmental digital payments service Mpay. Transfers are accepted in Moldovan lei, U.S. dollars or euros. The funds raised will be used to provide humanitarian aid to Ukrainian citizens affected by the war.
The bank details are provided on the Ministry of Finance’s website. Receipts can be requested at the email addresses elena.vlasiuc@mf.gov.md, mariana.scortescu@mf.gov.md.
