The restrictions on the access to the airport terminal were extended for another 30 days, until July 31, IPN reports, quoting an announcement issued by the Border Police jointly with the Chisinau International Airport and the Civil Aviation Authority.
The access to the terminal is allowed only to passengers with a ticket and travel document, authorized personnel and aircraft crews.
The measure was instituted on May 1.
“Given the fact that the flight schedule in the summer is very busy, and the flow of passengers is increased, we urge you to travel responsibly and to come at least three hours before the planned flight so as to be able to complete the necessary formalities for the trip and to avoid flight delays,” said the Border Police.
