The National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) is advising consumers against buying eggs from Rediagro SRL, from Târnova, Dondușeni, due to “the company’s multiple serious violations”, including Salmonella Enteritidis being confirmed in sheds with laying hens.
“Having the best interest of consumers in mind and in order to protect their health, ANSA warns consumers to avoid buying eggs produced by the food operator SRL Rediagro”, the Agency said in a press release.
Producers of non-compliant foods are required by law to withdraw them from the market and cooperate with ANSA to avoid or reduce the risks to health posed by such products. Failure to do so carries penalties.
