The authorities invite the potential candidates to apply to the National Award contest as from July 27. The ten awards are to be handed over in events that will be held to celebrate the Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports, quoting the Government’s press service.
The National Award is given to persons who substantially contributed and had a considerable impact on the development of society, science, technology, culture, arts and sport and on the consolidation of the values, heritage and image of the Republic of Moldova.
The interested persons and groups can file applications from July 27 until August 10 in electronic form to the email address cancelaria@gov.md. The candidate’s file must contain: a letter of recommendation, the CV, the list of publications and scientific works, literary works, copies of invention patents, etc.
“Even if it is a difficult and painful year for the whole region, including the Republic of Moldova, it is important not to forget the people whose accomplishments help the country or even the people to enjoy more good things, more creation and innovation. Traditionally, these awards are conferred for accomplishments obtained the previous year,” said Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița.
The National Award consists of a diploma, a medal and 100,000 lei for each individual laureate or team.
