The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the State of Israel has received 26 phone calls from Moldavian citizens. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they requested information about evacuation options, including the possible organization of a charter flight, reports IPN.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) urges Moldovans in Israel to leave the country, due to the deteriorating security situation in the region. According to the institution, there are several open land border points through which Moldovans can leave Israel: Allenby Bridge (towards Jordan), with a schedule from 08:00 to 14:00; Yitzhak Rabin Crossing (towards Jordan), schedule: 08:00 – 20:00; Taba (towards Egypt) – open constantly (24/7) and Jordan River Crossing (towards Jordan) with a schedule from 09:00 to 16:00.
Throughout the past night, Tehran’s attacks on Israeli territory intensified. Iran launched missiles at the cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa, targeting multiple infrastructure objects. As a result of the attacks, at least 5 people died and dozens were injured. The death toll in Israel, since the beginning of the mutual attacks, is approaching 20, according to Israel’s national emergency service. Meanwhile, since the escalation of the conflict between the two countries on Friday, over 220 people have died in Iran, and about 1,300 have been injured from Israeli attacks, according to Iran’s Ministry of Health.
