An exhibition of paintings made by plastic artists of Moldova and Romania will be mounted on January 13 in Bucharest on the occasion of the National Culture Day. The participating painters had taken part in the creation camp staged in Butuceni village of Orhei district in Moldova last autumn, IPN reports.
The exhibition is organized by the Embassy of Moldova in Bucharest in cooperation with the Cultural Center “Mihai Eminescu”.
The paintings will be on display at the Center’s Calderon Art Studio Gallery starting at 6pm.
As part of the event, on the eve of the birthday of national poet Mihai Eminescu, Moldovan actress Lia Sinkevich will recite the poem “Luceafărul” (“The Evening Star”).
