European countries have suddenly increased their support for Ukraine in the months of March and April, compensating for the interruption of American aid. As a result, the total volume of military support from Europe has risen to 72 billion euros, compared to the previously granted 65 billion by the US, according to data from the Institute for World Economy (IFW), as reported by IPN.
According to the International Financial Watch (IFW), record amounts have been allocated to Ukraine by several key countries. The aid from Sweden was worth 1.6 billion euros, while Norway’s was 670 million euros. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland provided support to Ukraine in the amount of 4.5 billion euros, 1.8 billion of which came from frozen Russian assets. France allocated aid of 2.2 billion euros to Ukraine.
The United States of America has not provided funding for Ukraine since January of this year.
