A man from the village of Pohrebeni in Orhei district was found charred in his house. According to the first examinations, the fire was caused by an electric duvet, IPN reports.

Rescuers repeatedly warn the citizens that non-compliance with fire safety rules when using electric heating appliances and other sources of heat can lead to tragic cases. The people are urged to correctly install and periodically check the functionality of electric heating appliances, such as electric heaters, duvets and air heaters. At night or when leaving home, these appliances should be turned off.
