The parliamentary group of the Party of Action and Solidarity has a new member. This is Nicolae Plamadeala, a substitute candidate on the PAS lists, whose seat was validated on Thursday by the Constitutional Court, IPN reports.
The Constitutional Court pronounced on the issue at the request of the Central Election Commission.
Nicolae Plamadeala, 85, is from Chisinau. He is a mechanical engineer by profession. “Since its founding, I have been part of this party. I have been active, creative… I graduated from the Technical University. I worked at the Design Institute and traveled practically all over the Soviet Union,” Nicolae Plamadeala said at the Court’s hearing.
The seat of MP fell vacant after Mariana Lucrețeanu was appointed secretary of state at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
