The President of the Republic of Moldovan sent a message of condolence in connection with the tragic terrorist attack in Ankara, which resulted in casualties, IPN reports.
“President Recep Tayyip Erdoğa, in these difficult moments, Moldova stands by you and the Turkish people. We strongly condemn terrorism in all its forms,” said Maia Sandu.
At least seven people died, including the two attackers, and 22 others were injured in the terrorist attack that took place on Wednesday in the Turkish capital Ankara. Explosions and gunfire were heard at the TUSAȘ aviation and drone factory. The international press reported that, after the attack, Turkey launched air strikes against targets in northern Syria and Iraq on Wednesday night. The Turkish government linked the attack on Turkish Aerospace to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, which is banned in Turkey as a terrorist organization and has its headquarters in the Qandil Mountains in northern Iraq.
