Fuel prices will slightly increase over the next three days. Thus, during the period of January 7-9, the maximum pump price will be 22.04 lei for a liter of 95 octane gasoline and 18.77 lei for diesel, reports IPN.
The National Agency for Energy Regulation announced for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday a price increase of two cents for gasoline and diesel, compared to Tuesday’s fuel prices.
Recently, ANRE announced that in the first two weeks of 2026, fuel prices will be influenced by new administrative factors, which came into effect on January 1 – the application of new excise values, the increase in the contribution for energy efficiency, and the adjustment of the specific commercial margin.
