“We speak the same language, we share the same culture and history, and we want the same future for the Republic of Moldova that is safe, prosperous, democratic, in the middle of the European family”, stated Romania’s Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu. In a message congratulating Moldova on its Independence Day, the official says that Romania will stand with the country and all its citizens on their journey leading to the fulfillment of these aspirations.
Marcel Ciolacu conveyed his and the Romanian Government’s congratulations to all citizens of the Republic of Moldova on the anniversary of Independence. “Today I also congratulated my friend Dorin Recean, and I reassured him that Romania will be in the future, just like before, in the front line of efforts to strengthen the European path, the stability and democratic development of the Republic Moldova. Our firm, clear, undisputed support for the Republic of Moldova is based on the consensus of political actors in Romania and on a lasting affective attachment of the entire Romanian society”, declared the Romanian prime minister.
The official expressed his full confidence in the Government of the Republic of Moldova, in Prime Minister Dorin Recean, in the determined and courageous effort of the entire administration in Chisinau, aimed at preparing the achievement of this goal.
“European integration is the only option that can ensure all the citizens of the Republic of Moldova the chance for a better, safer future, for a dignified and more prosperous life. The Republic of Moldova belongs in the European Union. I am confident that, at the referendum on October 20, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova will reaffirm this truth”, said Marcel Ciolacu.
