Students go to school this Saturday, November 9, to make up for the classes missed on Friday, November 1, when they enjoyed an extended autumn break, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Education and Research decided that this year, all school vacations will be integrated and each break will last for five days. The autumn break ran from October 28 to November 3. The winter break, which falls between semesters, will take place from December 25 to January 8. The spring break will last from March 3 to 9, and March 3 will be made up on March 15th. Additionally, the Easter vacation will run from April 19 to 28.
For the two make-up days, November 9 and March 15 (both Saturdays), teachers will receive one paid day off, which they can take during students’ vacation periods. According to the Ministry of Education and Research, teachers will receive two salaries for working on Saturdays and an additional day of leave.
