The average grade obtained by students who passed the national graduation exams of the gymnasium is 6.83, announces the Ministry of Education and Research. The result was calculated based on the grades obtained by the 24 512 candidates who successfully passed all the tests, reports IPN.
The lowest pass rate was recorded in mathematics. Only 83.81% of the students who took this test achieved passing grades, with an average of 6.15. The Russian language and literature exam had the highest pass rate, 98.16%, with an average of 6.43.
The Romanian language and literature ended with a pass rate of 97.61% and an average grade of 6.53. History was passed by 97.31% of students, who achieved an average of 6.56 – the highest among all subjects. Romanian for non-native speakers, on the other hand, recorded the lowest average grade – 5.96, with a challenge rate of 86.88%.
In total, 30 235 students participated in the current session of the middle school graduation exams.
For candidates who have not passed one or more tests, an additional session will be organized during the period of August 12-15.
