The head of the National Technical Surveillance Inspectorate, Ion Moraru, has submitted his resignation. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Bolea, Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, who stated that the situation in the construction sector requires a new approach, reports IPN.
“The situation in the construction sector requires a new approach, and compliance with the law must be the number one commitment of everyone who works, whether on the side of the authorities or on the side of the entrepreneurs”, asserts the minister.
Vladimir Bolea further clarifies that he signed the resignation request. Contacted by IPN for a reaction, Ion Moraru did not answer the phone.
Ion Moraru was appointed director of the Technical Surveillance Agency in November 2021, an institution that was reorganized in 2023 into the National Inspectorate for Technical Surveillance.
