Customers served by Premier Energy and FEE Nord will pay less for electricity – by 51 bani and, respectively, 68 bani. Two resolution projects in this regard have been approved in the meeting of the National Agency for Energy Regulation, reports IPN.
Thus, citizens from the southern and central districts, served by Premier Energy, are to pay 3.59 lei/kWh (excluding VAT), or 51 bani less than the current rate, which is 4.10 lei/kWh. Consumers from the northern part of the country, served by FEE Nord, will pay 4 lei/kWh (excluding VAT) or 68 bani less than the current rate of 4.68 lei/kWh.
The two suppliers requested a reduction in electricity tariffs at the beginning of July. Premier Energy proposed a tariff of 3.87 lei/kWh, 23 bani less than the current one, while FEE Nord asked for a tariff of 4.22 lei/kWh, which would mean a reduction of 46 bani.
ANRE has decided to approve a lower tariff than the one proposed by Premier Energy, after finding a significant reduction in the real costs of electricity purchase compared to the initial estimates. Also, for FEE Nord, the tariff was adjusted downwards, based on new forecasts and actual costs.
The last time the electricity tariff was reduced was in July 2023.
