President Maia Sandu signed a decree to institute the commemorative medal “30 years of the war for defending the integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova (1991-1992)”, IPN reports.
In a press release, it is said that the medal will be awarded in connection with the declaring of 2022 the Year of Gratitude for the veterans who took part in the war for defending the territorial integrity and independence of the Republic of Moldova.
