People with a contributory period ranging from 2 to 5 years will be able to request the recalculation of their old-age pension from January 1, 2023, provided that the pension was assigned before January 1, 2019, the National Social Insurance Company CNAS announced in a press release.
Disability pensions assigned from 1999 will also be eligible for recalculation for people with a contributory period no shorter than 7 years.
Recalculation applications may be submitted on CNAS’s website and on the governmental portal of public services.
In submitting applications online, beneficiaries are encouraged to ask the help of public servants and local authorities, if help from family or friends is not available.
