Former Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Alexandru Flenchea was appointed head of the Republic of Moldova’s delegation to the Joint Control Commission (JCC). The Government on Wednesday modified the nominal composition of the delegation, IPN reports.
The Republic of Moldova’s delegation to the JCC works based on regulations that were approved by the Government on October 3, 2011 and its duty is to continuously monitor the situation in the Security Zone, to intervene and deal with problems related to the functioning of the peacekeeping mechanism, maintaining of order and safety of citizens in this region.
At the moment, Alexandru Flenchea heads the Association “Initiative for Peace”.
