The 2022 Youth Weekis celebrated inthe municipality of Chisinau during November 7-13. The authorities said the organized activities are aimed at realizing the potential of the young people from the capital city by informing and actively engaging them in different activities, IPN reports.
This way, different activities will be staged in the four youth centers situated in Centru, Buiucani, Ciocana and Râșcani districts. All the activities organized by the Youth Center are absolutely free and are open to anyone aged between 14 and 35.
The young people will explore the game “Mafia Day”, will mount activities with young people from placement centers of Chisinau and will stage a “City Quest” to identify localities in exchange for a prize. There will be held a Forum of Good Practices in the field of volunteering.
The National Youth Day events will include a panel discussion about the development prospects of the youth sector, a training seminar entitled “Relationship between young people and the youth sector in the Republic of Moldova”, the screening of a movie about volunteering, etc.
In a working meeting on Monday, mayor general of Chisinau municipality Ion Ceban said the young people should be promoted so that they become generators of ideas and activities. He will request that the Chisinau Municipal Council should declare 2023 the Year of Youth in Chisinau.
