Alexandr Pînzari will be proposed for the post of vice director of the National Anticorruption Center (NAC) and is to be confirmed by Parliament. The Parliament’s legal commission for appointments and immunities approved the relevant draft decision, IPN reports.
Lieutenant-colonel Alexandr Pînzari has worked in the NAC since 2016. Currently, he heads the Center’s Local General Division “Nord”. Alexandr Pînzari is a bachelor and a master of law and earlier served with the Ministry of the Interior.
Under the law, the director of the National Anticorruption Center is assisted by two deputies who are appointed by Parliament, at the suggestion of the director, and serve only during the latter’s tenure.
