High school graduates are taking the baccalaureate exam today in one of the seven disciplines – geography, chemistry, history, biology, computer science, mathematics, and physics. This is the final exam for Romanian classes, as reported by IPN.
Most students chose geography, the fewest – physics. Thus, according to the Ministry of Education, out of the 16,018 admitted candidates, 9,525 will take the Geography exam, 2,213 – Chemistry, 1,571 – Romanian and Universal History, 1,087 – Biology, 965 – Informatics, 430 – Mathematics, and 227 – Physics.
The baccalaureate session will end on Friday, June 20th, with the test on the mother tongue, in which 468 candidates will participate in 12 examination centers. 248 students will take the test in Gagauz language and literature, 173 will have the exam in Bulgarian language and literature, and 47 – in Ukrainian language and literature.
The checking of tests has started, and the preliminary results from the main session will be displayed at the baccalaureate centers on June 26.
A total of over 18,500 candidates have registered for the BAC exam this year, of which 2,065 are retaking the exam after previous sessions of baccalaureate.
