Daniel Vodă announced that he accepted Prime Minister Dorin Recean’s proposal to be detached from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration to the Government of the Republic of Moldova as spokesman, IPN reports.
“The great team from the MFAEI and my mates from the press know very well that I’m an ardent supporter of transparent, open public communication in the interests of the citizen and our objective is to join the EU. This was the most difficult decision I have taken in the recent past, after reflecting a lot, but I have only one thought – that out country should succeed on our eversible path to the EU,” stated Daniel Vodă.
According to him, the Moldovan diplomatic service is his home. “In the diplomatic service, we are detached to missions. I thank Minister Nicu Popescu, all the dear people from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for the trust and support they offered to me. In my new capacity and mission, I will try hard to do what I know best together with our extended team – to ensure communication,” said Daniel Vodă.
