Joining the EU is the best mechanism to ensure peace and security for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, according to Alexandru Codreanu, Head of the Directorate for EU Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Codreanu made this statement at the first annual Moldova-EU Security and Defense Dialogue, held in Chișinău, IPN reports.
