From January, the natural gas rate for household users will be 11 lei/m3 with VAT included, down 0.8 lei. The rate was approved by the National Agency for Energy Regulation in its December 24 meeting, IPN reports.
The rate without VAT is 10.19 lei per 1 cubic meter of gas.
The rate was determined taking into account the total volume of supplied natural gas – 1.177 billion m3, the average import price set for 2022 – US$413.15 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas, the exchange rate and the transportation and distribution costs.
In November (1-30), household users paid 11.8 lei with VAT included per 1 cubic meter of natural gas.
