President Maia Sandu has won 2023 Freedom Fighter Award offered by the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA). The awards ceremony will take place during the CEPA Forum on September 26-29, where Maia Sandu is invited as a speaker.
“We are proud to present the 2023 Freedom Fighter Award to President Maia Sandu for her leadership in challenging Russia’s hybrid assault on Moldova, supporting Ukraine’s fight for freedom, and upholding democratic values”, CEPA announced in a Facebook post.
The 2023 CEPA Forum is themed “Winning the War. Winning the Peace”. Over the course of the Forum, CEPA will host a dynamic series of virtual keynotes, discussions, debates, and stories focusing on the transatlantic response to Russia’s war in Ukraine and how to turn unity into action, bolster collective security, and achieve continued prosperity.
