A minibus running on the Chisinau-Costesti route overturned on the R6 route, Km 11. It all happened after the minibus was hit from behind by a truck that allegedly tried to avoid the impact with another car, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the DAF truck was driven by a 46-year-old man, and the minibus by a 38-year-old man. The drivers were tested for alcohol and the result was negative.
Following the impact, four minibus passengers were transported to the hospital for medical examinations, and three others received medical care on the spot.
An investigation was initiated into the case.
