A contingent of 30 servicemen of the National Army will participate in the parade that will be staged in Bucharest on the occasion of Romania’s National Day marked on December 1. The detachment from Chisinau conducts daily training at the Ghencea firing range in Romania, IPN reports.
The 30 Moldovan officers, soldiers and sergeants will parade in the center of the Romanian capital, at the Arch of Triumph in Bucharest. The detachment from Chisinau at the parade will march alongside the Romanian military and soldiers of foreign contingents deployed in Romania.
This year, the National Army’s detachment is made up of the flag carrier group, represented by soldiers of the Honor Guard, followed by peacekeepers of the 22nd “Blue Helmets” battalion, led by Lieutenant Major Cristina Dolgoruc, the Ministry of Defense said.
The Republic of Moldova since 2014 has participated in the military parades held in Bucharest on the occasion of Romania’s National Day.
