Representing Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with the song “In the middle”, Natalia Barbu failed to secure a spot in the final of the contest held in Malmö, Sweden, IPN reports.
For the first time this year, the finalists are decided exclusively by public voting, without the vote of the specialized jury. The order in which the finalists were announced doesn’t coincide with the size of the accumulated score, which isn’t communicated at this stage.
The second semifinal on May 9 will involve the representatives of Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Denmark, Armenia, Latvia, San Marino, Georgia, Belgium, Estonia, Israel, Norway, and the Netherlands.
