The number of people from the Transnistrian region who use medical services on right side of the Nistru has increased. In 2022, almost 58,000 Transnistrians benefitted from emergency, pre-hospital and primary medical assistance on the right side of the Nistru, IPN reports, quoting the Reintegration Policies Bureau.
The citizens of the Republic of Moldova who live on the left side of the Nistru, in the municipality of Bender and the adjoining localities benefit from medical assistance in the amount set for all the ensured persons in the Republic of Moldova. The medically non-insured persons registered by the family doctor benefit from free emergency, pre-hospital and primary medical assistance, as all the insured persons in the Republic of Moldova do.
In 2022, family doctors’ lists included 57,795 citizens of the Republic of Moldova living on the left side of the Nistru, in the municipality of Bender and the adjoining localities, up 9.95% on 2021.
The population from the eastern districts of the country, as the people from the right side of the Nistru, benefit from vaccine doses and consumables in the framework of the National Immunization Program approved by the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
