Those interested will be able to travel by public transport to the Chisinau Arena on December 24 to take part in the inaugural ceremony. Buses will travel from 4pm until 6:30pm at an interval of about 30 minutes. After 10pm, the buses will take the persons back up to the Circus from where they will be able to take other units of transport, IPN reports.
Such a request to the Chisinau City Hall was made by the organizers of the event. “We aim to make sure that those who want to see the concert reach the venue safely, to minimize the number of personal cars, to avoid traffic jams on the road to Stăuceni as the parking places there are limited in number,” said mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban.
The Ukrainian band Okean Elzy will perform during the ceremony to inaugurate the Chisinau Arena.
