Road traffic on national roads is taking place under winter conditions. At this time, the roads are practically passable, and the pavement is largely dry. However, the National Road Administration specifies that, in the northern part of the country, there are sections of snow-covered road in places, reports IPN.
Throughout the night, road workers were mobilized in the field, intervening as necessary, for cleaning the carriageway, snow removal and spreading anti-skid material. The works were carried out in the districts of Floresti, Soroca, Soldanesti, Glodeni, Ungheni, Ialoveni, as well as in the Cainari and Causeni areas.
In total, approximately 120 tons of technical salt and 11 tons of anti-skid material were distributed on the targeted road sectors.
