Over 40 candidates got grades of 10 in Baccalaureate exams

Forty-three students got grades of 10 in this year’s Baccalaureate exams so far, as opposed to 16 candidates in 2021. Also, four candidates were removed from exams for cheating, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Education and Research.

As many as 3,143 candidates have an average grade equal to or higher than 8, as against 3,026 in 2021, while 857 candidates have an average grade equal to or higher than 9, in contrast to 725 in 2021.

About 18,000 candidates were admitted to the 2022 Baccalaureate session, with over 11,000 of these being from lyceums. The rest were from colleagues and centers of excellence and from universities.

The exam pass rate among lyceum students is over 84%. More than 11,000 candidates or 65% of all the candidates admitted to the session passed the Baccalaureate exams during the main session, according to the results before the examination of challenges.

During June 27-28, 2022, the candidates who do not agree with the grades can file challenges to Baccalaureate Centers between 9am and 6pm. In the period, each candidate will be able to see the graded tests on bac.gov.md, based on a password provided by the educational institution where they studied.

The final results of the main session will be made public on July 4, following the examination of challenges.

The additional Baccalaureate examination session will be held during July 18-25, 2022.
