Petrocub needed three more minutes to obtain a positive result in the return game against Maccabi Tel Aviv the day it launched its anthem that was sung by artist Ion Razza. Guiagon (90+1) and Peretz (90+3) scored for the team trained by Robbie Keane, IPN reports.
In the first leg, Petrocub lost in Tel Aviv 0-3. In the return match played in Chisinau, head coach Alexei Savinov could not use six important players owing to injury. These are: Mudrac, Iosipoi, Revenco, Ambros, M.Platica and Kleshchenko. In their absence, the lineup included Avram, Potîrniche, Jardan, Rozgoniuc, Borș (Demian 39, Axenti 87), Bogaciuc, Lungu (Cotogoi 39), Pușcaș (Calaidjoglu 64), Lupan (Butucel 64), S.Platica, Cojocaru.
