President Maia Sandu is paying a working visit to Bucharest on Tuesday. The official will take part in the international conference “Women MPs in Romania and the promotion of gender equality as national commitment” that is organized by the Parliament of Romania. Also today, Maia Sandu will have bilateral meetings with her Romanian counterpart Klaus Iohannis and the Prime Minister of Romania Nicolae Ciucă, IPN reports.
The international conference was set to start at noontime. Maia Sandu will take part in the event alongside Klaus Iohannis. At 1:15pm, President Sandu will be welcomed at the Cotroceni Palace. The two heads of state will have a tête-à-tête. Images of the event will be posted on the Romanian Presidential Administration’s website.
The Moldovan official will also meet with members of the Club of Bessarabian Entrepreneurs.
