Sheriff lost the first leg of the 1/8 of the 2022/2023 UEFA Europa Conference League to Nice 0-1. The only goal was scored by 18-year-old Moroccan Amraoui Ayoub in the 45th+3 minute, IPN reports.
The players from Tiraspol tried hard to tie in the second half of the game. Their goal was yet disallowed for offside. “We had a good game and didn’t deserve to lose. I congratulate my lads on their performance in the second half,” said Sheriff coach Roberto Bordin.
