Deputy Parliament Speaker Alexandru Slusari, of the PPPDA, believes the state should extensively support agriculture. He spoke about this in the program “Space of Freedom” with Lilia Burakovski, IPN reports.
“The national agriculture should be supported. In Europe, they realized this long ago and they subsidize agriculture. It is an axiom. If you do not offer support to your agriculture, sooner or later you start to invest in a foreign agriculture,” said Alexandru Slusari.
The deputy head of the PPPDA spoke about the advantage of investing in the national agriculture.
“Import could cost less, but this is trickery. By stimulating import, we support jobs in other countries, while by brining money to our agriculture, we support jobs in our country,” stated Alexandru Slusari.
