The registration process for obtaining compensation for the cold season will begin on November 3rd. The announcement was made by the acting Minister of Labor and Social Protection, Alexei Buzu. The Minister specified that the enrollment in the compensation system will take place throughout the entire month of November. Citizens can register online, and those who lack digital skills can seek the help of social workers, reports IPN.
“At the beginning of November, we will start the registration process for citizens in the compensation system. Just like last year, citizens can register themselves on the government portal or they need to contact social workers who will guide people to register in the system. We will start the process on November 3rd. It will last the entire month of November. There is no need to generate excessive traffic on the government portal from the first days. We have enough time. We succeeded in past winters, I am sure we will succeed now,” Alexei Buzu declared during the “Rezoomat” show on RliveTV.
The official emphasized that all citizens must register again this year, even if they benefited from compensations last season, as the data in the system is updated periodically.
“Regardless of whether they benefited from compensations last year or not, citizens must register once again. Data changes, certain parameters change, and citizens must register each time. The process has been simplified. We have calculated that for an average family, registration takes no more than 5-6 minutes,” added Alexei Buzu.
Alexei Buzu stated that for heating, compensation will be offered in the form of monetary payment, while for electricity, the compensation will continue to be reflected in the bill.
“There will be compensations. For heating, they will be in cash, for electricity, they will be on the bill. Right now, our main concern is to make sure that, from a technical point of view, citizens will not have major problems registering in the system,” said the Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
