Meteorologists issued a yellow warning for atmospheric instability. The warning comes into force at noon and is valid until 10:00 p.m., IPN reports.
On large areas, there will be torrential rain accompanied by thunder and lightning, in parts heavy (15-20 l/m2) and with hail. Also, gusts of up to 15-18 m/s are expected.
In this connection, the Chisinau City Hall calls on the citizens to use public transport instead of personal cars. Drivers are urged not to park on the side of streets, on sidewalks and under dry trees, to avoid traffic congestion and allow the special vehicles to intervene in a timely manner.
