Moldova’s Customs Service reports exports worth 36.7 billion lei in the first five months of this year.
According to an infographic published by the customs authority, the top goods exported from Moldova are wires, cables and other electrical conductors, followed by sunflower seeds and wine made from fresh grapes, including fortified wines, IPN reports.
During this period, wine exports totaled 1.12 billion lei. Sunflower seed exports amounted to 3.02 billion lei, while cables were exported worth 3.21 billion lei.
In 2024, the total value of goods exported from Moldova amounted to 107.7 billion lei. The largest volumes were recorded in machinery, electrical appliances and equipment, oilseeds and cereals.
